NEWS June 30, 2009 Paul McCartney We are very pleased to announce that we will be opening up for Sir Paul McCartney in our home and native city on July 11th on the Halifax Common. Ticket information is posted on the tour calendar. June 9, 2009 Festivals + October UK Tour with Editors! We’ve recently announced a few festival dates on the tour calendar, including SappyFest in Sackville, NB as well as a few overseas. Keep checking back as more will be added in the coming weeks. Speaking of touring abroad, Wintersleep will be back in the UK touring with Editors this October. Cities include London, Manchester, Leeds, Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh and more. May 28, 2009 Zane Lowe Session Airs Wednesday, June 17th Wintersleep’s live session and interview with Zane Lowe will air on the BBC Radio 1 evening show on Wednesday, June 17. The show starts at 7PM in the UK. For those of you in North America, you can listen live starting at 2PM Eastern / 3PM Atlantic on the BBC website by clicking the “Listen Live” link at the top of the page. February 23, 2009 SXSW 2009 + US AND WESTERN CANADA DATES Wintersleep will travel to SXSW this year to perform a showcase on Saturday, Mar.21st @ 10PM with a bunch of cool bands including Brittan’s Echo and The Bunnymen. There are also several US and Western Canadian dates added to the schedule surrounding the SXSW appearance. Tour dates start March 17th in Houston, TX and the band will travel through Dallas, Austin, LA, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Victoria, Calgary and Edmonton before wrapping up in Vancouver in early April. Welcome To The Night Sky was released in Europe this week (One-Four-Seven-Records), and to celebrate tour dates are scheduled throughout Europe - starting Feb. 10th in the UK and wrapping in Stockholm on Mar. 7th.
