Wintersleep is my 3rd favourite bands next to Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree, respectively.  I also love Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Explosions in the Sky, Ayreon, Sigur Ros, Pure Reason Revolution, and Rush.  Other frequently listened to bands include Dropkick Murphys, Nine Inch Nails, Emigrate, Rammstein, and when I'm in a corny mood, power metal like Hammerfall or Sonata Arctica.

Of course, this is just to name a few.

been listening to A LOT of this band from vancouver LADYHAWK. really good ***. they opened for wintersleep when they played the commodore and ive been hooked ever since. i then saw them open for Black Mountain and ive got tickets to their own show in October.... check them out if you get a chance, couple great bands in vancouver right now.

This is pretty random, but have you heard the Incubus songs that they wrote for the Halo 2 soundtrack?  They're actually really, really good.
