    Japanese Release

Welcome to the Night Sky has now been released in Japan by the fine folks at Imperial Records. It features lyrics translated to Japanese and 2 previously unreleased bonus tracks from the wwttns sessions. http://www.hmv.co.jp/product/detail/2685687

Here is a video that loel compiled from our trip.....

    Re: Japanese Release

    Thanks for the video Tim.
What are the names of the two songs? And are they the ones featured in the video? I'm simply curious because the first one on the video you guys played on 2007-03-21 in NYC when you opened for The Slip, and I have no clue what that song is.

And I'd order the CD again for the bonus tracks if only I could read Japanese. Regardless, thanks for the video and link! Acoustic Miasmal... wow, how would I would have loved to have witnessed that.

yay!! thanks so much for the video, Loel!  looks like you guys had a great trip....

and yes, acoustic Miasmal was a pleasant surprise!!

but the How You Gonna Lie teaser at the end was just plain mean....   Stick out tongue

.... i feel it crawling in, gnawing, reptilian ....

Through some research, I have discovered that the other song is called 'Ultra-Violet'.

    ...I think.

    Re: Japanese Release

I think we actually settled on "Ultra Violent". How you gona lie is actually called "Early in The Morning".

It would be nice to find a way to get those tunes out over here... I'm sure we will think of something better than MP3's. Unfortunatley that was the only way the song "Damage" was released... a bit cheapish hmmm?

I don't think we ever opened for the Slip in NYC... do you mean Troy? That was Ultra-Violent... It was referred to as "Fucked up Kids" then. I think Kevin Drew recently stole (ahem) that title though.

Ahhh, there is a clip of a new song near the end, which has no title. We've got lots of new ideas kicking around these days, jams ahoy!

    Thanks for watching!

Hmmm acquiring these bonus tracks is certainly one of my top priorities at this point, that first song in the video Loel put up sounds excellent, I'd love to hear the whole song.

    There's a bootleg of a show from NYC: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=505988

I'm sure I've heard 'Polla' mention something about The Slip in it.
But then again, I'm pretty sure you would know a bit better than me. :) Cheers, and thanks for the info.
